Since the change of ownership, it's been wonderful. Belphégor (Isa), the old waitress, was awful 🤔 Now it's very pleasant and enjoyable. The owner is very friendly and smiling. Well done! 🤠🙏

Since the change of ownership, it's been a pleasure to go to this establishment. Céline, the owner, as well as Diana and Nana are very pleasant, professional people... it's friendly and warm. I recommend it.

A truly popular bar in the best sense of the word, and a family-run establishment, the kind you hardly ever see anymore. A "small" working-class bar that's not so small after all. Two different waitresses, but both fantastic. Good coffee at a very affordable price (one of the cheapest in La Rochelle). I haven't tried the food yet, but I imagine it's just as good as the drinks. And a big bonus: a sheltered back courtyard with a small garden. Spotless restrooms (you can see your reflection in them). Rating: 29.5/30 (because I haven't eaten there yet). But 5 out of 5 stars. A real BAR, just the way we like them, for the locals of Laleu - La Pallice... that gives you energy... and a smile.
