Excellent value for money, delicious veggie burger and lovely, efficient servers 😁

⭐⭐⭐ The food was truly excellent, very tasty and full of flavor. We enjoyed the dishes and the quality of the cuisine. However, we found the attitude of one of the waitresses a bit odd. We overheard her say she couldn't wait to get home and go to bed. As a customer, this kind of remark isn't pleasant to hear and doesn't concern us. It's a shame, because the food was really very good. With a slightly more professional welcome and service, the experience would have been much better.

We arrived a little before 9:30 pm for dinner, a perfectly reasonable hour. Unfortunately, the welcome was very unpleasant. A head waitress, as well as the person who took our payment, were cold and unfriendly. When it came time to pay, we weren't even greeted with a simple "How was your meal?" It's truly a shame to feel so disregarded in a restaurant. Fortunately, not all the staff were like that. The head waitress who served us was very professional, and a huge thank you to Abu, the young busboy, who was lovely, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal. It's thanks to him that our experience was somewhat redeemed. The food was quite good, but a warm welcome is just as important. What a shame.

A great experience. We were well seated despite our group size (8). The service was quick and efficient. Everything was good and well done.

Pleasant setting, efficient and friendly staff

While on holiday in La Rochelle, we went to watch the Spain-Belgium match and had a meal. The waiters were great, always attentive, and the price was reasonable. A fantastic place to watch the game. The food was very good. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time dining on the terrace of Le Verre Luisant. The portions were generous, the food delicious, and there was a beautiful view of the Old Port basin. Highly recommended.

Near the old port, nothing to complain about. Service, food quality, and reasonable prices, especially during the Francofolies festival. I recommend it.

Originally from Pas-de-Calais, we came here last night quite by chance and had a wonderful time. The place is very pleasant, and the value for money is excellent. Thank you to the young woman who welcomed us so kindly, as well as to the entire service team who were exceptional from beginning to end. Homemade food, good ingredients, good cocktails, fast service... I highly recommend it.

The welcome was very good, however the meal was mediocre: the mussels were empty or very small. The fries were good.

There are quite a few restaurants on the port of La Rochelle; we stopped at Le Verre Luisant by chance. We weren't disappointed. We ate very well, everything was fresh, the service was impeccable, and the waiter was friendly. We'll definitely go back.
