Delicious pasta! We ate lunch here- ordered the bolognese, pesto, and carbonara and each were fantastic.

Upon arriving in La Rochelle, we stopped at Pasta Ciao for lunch. We received a warm welcome from the staff. The dishes were delicious (the authentic carbonara was particularly good!). This treat was accompanied by gourmet coffees and a perfectly executed tiramisu, brilliantly concluding this succulent meal. A big thank you to the staff; the setting and the food were fantastic! We highly recommend this restaurant for a meal that will take your taste buds on a journey at a very reasonable price!

I came to get the "real" carbonara to go, and I have to say I'm very disappointed. First of all, I thought I was hallucinating at the MEASURY portion in the bowl; it looked like a "gastronomic" portion, absolutely not enough to satisfy a man of average build, or even more, but that's not really a problem... The problem is €14! After paying €14 for a dish, I wasn't expecting so little, especially for pasta, with so much oil and tasteless bacon. The oil was practically a swimming pool. I'm not saying it wasn't good, but when places like Pitaya/Flying Pasta exist nearby and offer pasta bowls twice as filling for the same price or even less, I'm baffled. Judging by the other reviews, I think I just got a bad one, but honestly, I felt completely ripped off.

Excellent risotto and a warm welcome

A wonderful discovery! The welcome was fantastic. The dishes were generous, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious. The panna cotta and tiramisu were excellent. The service was quick and the staff were really friendly. A very nice place! I'll gladly come back!
